Special Events:

AHCC Schooling Show- April 11, 2010 As part of its Open All Breed Schooling Show Series, the Arabian Horse Club of Connecticut (AHCC) Schooling Show will be held at Ray of Light on April 11, beginning at 9:00 (registration at 8:00). The show will include "Meet and Greet The Arabian Horse: " where you can see Arabians, the desert breed, in their Native Costume.

Next Month: Open House and Premarin Birthday Celebration- May 16, 2010 The Babies of 2009 are turning 1! Join us to celebrate the Premarin rescues' birthday. Wear your party hats to celebrate with us at our all-day Birthday Party and Open House. There will be a festive Premarin parade at 12:00, followed by refreshments and birthday cake. Do you want to bring your favorite Premarin a gift? Check out their gift registries here, or find something (for them or for yourself) at the Save-A-Buck Tack and Gift Store, which will offer an all-day 20% discount.

Tiny Trotters An educational program for preschoolers – arts, crafts, “hands-on” interaction with animals, and pony rides.

Filly Night Group riding lessons for women held one Tuesday evening per month. We encourage youth riders to mentor adult women. This program is sponsored in part by Middlesex County Community Foundation

B.I.T. (Basics in Training) Instruction on handling and training foals. As part of our commitment to Premarin rescues, we invite interested students to become involved in the training and handling of foals.

 

 

 

Pony rides A safe and fun way for little ones
to experience the joys of riding. No reservation required. Thursdays through Saturdays 11-2:00 (suggested donation $10). Pony rides are also available through Tiny Trotters and for birthday parties.
